Our Wine & Cheese Night went off without a hitch, save one casualty: a stunning decorative platter has gone to china heaven (perhaps that’s where the dish and the spoon ran away to?). It’s a pity but I don’t believe in being too precious about possessions. A home is for living in, after all.
I went to the Adelaide Central Markets to buy the yummy cheese, antipasto, bread and fresh fruit and all our friends brought some lovely wine to share. It was a wonderful way to celebrate The Man’s and my birthdays on a cold Autumn night.
