Did you spot the cute little garland on the advent calendar yesterday? I made it in a few minutes using washi tape (Japanese paper masking tape).

You will need:

• thread
• washi tape in various patterns
• scissors

Instructions:

1. Fold a piece of tape over the thread; stick together.

2. Snip an inverted triangle into the end of tape. Continue until length of thread is completed.

I did this for Christmas, but you could use it to decorate for any other occasion, as well as wrapping around presents.
