I’m not expecting you to have an unused embroidery hoop lying around (although believe it or not I do) but they’re an inexpensive and widely available item with loads of uses. Check out these ideas for starters:

How great is it that they’re so versatile, given that I’d rather poke my eyes out with embroidery needs than actually use a hoop for its intended purpose?
