Laundry before 1laundry update

A little while ago I discovered IHeart Organizing and was immediately addicted to the daily dose of inspiration. So I was thrilled when the super sweet blogger Jen agreed to share one of my own organised spaces with her readers. You can read her feature here.

Thanks so much, Jen!

If you’re here visiting from IHeart Organizing, welcome! You might like to start by browsing the organising category or project file. You can also find full details of the laundry-related projects:
Initial laundry makeover

    Hi Alicia,
I found your blog through Jen ( Iheart orgnaising)
I was just wondering if you could list where you got all your supplies?
I am moving into my first OWNED house and would love to do it up. I would be SO grateful if you could do that =)
ps i love the little washing detergent dispenser!!!! I currently have all my washing detergent in a 5litre opened container locked away under my sink.

Oh and I must also ask.
what on earth have you got in those Asker containers that are green lol??? They look rather strange haha
    take care

Great makeover! i was wondering what you used to paint the tiles?

    To save Alicia some time:

Abby – that’s cutlery in the Asker containers. Specifically cutlery we use when using the outdoor setting. They were a present to Alicia for her 21st a while ago I believe. Kind of picnic-y.

Sharon – Not sure on the brand, but it’s rather simple: tile paint! Basically you can get it from any hardware store and have it tinted like most paints.

  • Oh! Thanks for doing my homework for me, sweetie.

Sharon: The brand is White Knight. I’m not sure where you are located, but if they don’t carry it I’m sure there’d be an equivalent.

  • I saw this and was so impressed! I just saw you posted on FB by refabulous and I love your blog! I’m so glad I found you! I’ll be following you 😉

    • Thanks Liz, and welcome :)
