Sorry about the late post today but it’s worth the wait.

I recently organised my first wedding inspiration shoot and I am SO excited that it’s being exclusively featured today on Polka Dot Bride! I just love how mix of materials like glass, rope, timber, sand and calico evoke a feeling that’s unmistakably beachy, but with a layered, earthy twist.

My ideas for the shoot – featuring these wedding invitations – were brought to life (and improved tenfold) by my crazy-talented friend Mary from Mary & Gabrielle Events and captured by the amazing Luke Simon. Huge thanks also to Sally from Poppies Flowers for letting us raid her incredible prop collection and the team at The Flying Knife for putting up with us taking over their restaurant. Thanks everyone for braving the horrid weather and helping me bring this project to fruition.

Enough gushing! Head over to Polka Dot Bride to see the full shoot.
