Love it, it looks great. Is it okay to apply the acrylic straight onto the terracotta without putting a base/protective coat on, or anything like that? I have a couple of terracotta pots and I find they get a chalky white layer on the outside, someone told me this is because of salt.
Hi Michelle, I applied the paint directly onto the pot. Early days yet so only time will tell if it holds up for the long haul! You’re right about the salt deposits – I’m hoping since it’s a small succulent requiring only a tiny amount of water that it won’t build up too much.
