A personalized mug with someone else’s name on it.

You’ve just shown me two things I can buy for my work KK, thanks!

My worst gift is easy. One year my grandma bought me a three pack of hankies (in a box). They were a bit wrinkled, and upon opening, found one was used. UGH. Worst regift ever

A leaf blower. The worst thing was I thought it was the acoustic guitar I had been hinting at for a while since I had taken up playing music again (the box fitted the shape/size). I honestly thought it was a guitar, so I was so excited and ecstatic on seeing the box until I peeled back the paper… Never the ungrateful one – ‘Oh really how did you know! You shouldn’t have! You know me so well!…’
    End scene.

I was once given a used bathing suit. Yep. My grandma admitted that she found it at a thrift store and “just thought I would love the pattern.” // so gross.

Ooops!! Just re-read and realized this is open to Australians only… take my name out of the running!

My grandmother used to make these crocheted clowns – I would receive one for birthday, one for christmas every year. There were brother clowns, sister clowns, baby clowns, elderly clowns – I never had the heart to tell her they were absolutely frightening!

A set of used mismatched table napkins… dirty!

  • This is easy. When I was in the last trimester of my first pregnancy someone gave me maternity pyjamas. Very thoughtful, only thing is, I just had one week to go! They were HUGE and my baby was born at just 2.5kg so I only had a very small ‘bump’. It was a very sweet thought though :)

  • Oh my god, there are no words to respond to the horror of these gifts! Thanks for the laugh. I’m announcing the winner on today’s post.
