Target festive celebration

What’s the best part about this time of year? Opening up your home to entertain friends and family, with no further excuse required to crack a bubbly or whip up a cocktail at any time of day.

If you’re off the hook for hosting Chrissy lunch this year, perhaps (like me) you’re thinking about throwing a bit of a party this Christmas / New Year period.

With that in mind, I’ve put together a little shoot to inspire your upcoming festive celebration.

My favourite way to celebrate the holidays is sharing it with friends and family, with a deliciously stocked and full ice bucket, good tunes, bad jokes and paper crowns, no alarm clock and feet up… Bring it on! Love the polka dot glassware btw :)

I love banishing the alarm clock and spending hours reading and lying under the fan… such a contrast to the rest of the year!

  • Getting cozy on the couch with my kids to read Christmas books

The newest tradition my husband started two years ago is to host a Christmas breakfast for the homeless students from the middle school he teaches at and surprise them with gifts from donations collected from teachers and staff. It’s always touching :)

  • Thanks for all your responses. I am having a hard time choosing the winner!
